Healing your business “dis-ease” from the source.

Here in this time we are confronted with major challenges in our world. These are reflected in our businesses. What we have created is systems that no longer serve us, yet we keep going back to them and seeking, somehow to get different results. Instead we keep getting results that no-one wants.

If we look at your business as a living breathing entity and the challenges you are facing as the symptoms of a disease, then we can get a clearer picture of what I am talking about.

When you find yourself with symptoms, you have choices.

  • Run off to the doctor or pharmacy, get a prescription or grab some over the counter medication, deal with the symptoms and get on with it. With this option the result is likely to be, you get over the symptoms and new symptoms arrive (side effects of the drug or from suppressing the body’s natural immunity) or the symptom clears, you regain your strength – for now – and the symptom returns.
  • Or, with the help of a suitably trained practitioner, you seek to go deeper and find the cause of the problem and address it at the source. It may be from being stressed, unresolved emotional issues or trauma.

When the issue is dealt with appropriately at the source of the problem, you are then able to truly be cured of the illness. From this point, you can start to listen to what your body is telling you, connect in with the body’s innate wisdom and start to create a healthier and happier lifestyle.

OK, I’m simplifying this a little, but I’m sure you get the idea.

Often in business we are so busy dealing with the symptoms, we just take the first solution that comes along without addressing the real cause. When we are able to get down to that and understand it at this level, we are able to start really addressing the issues that cause problems. Now we have freed up our thinking process and are able to start listening the future that is wants to emerge. We can connect with the true soul of the business. Now we can create the results that we really want – a healthier and more innovative workplace.
